Candle Care

Before Burning

  1. Prior to burning our candle, trim the wick at least 1/2 cm. This will prevent uneven burning, dripping or flaring.
  2. Avoid drafts, vents or air currents. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting, and excessive dripping.
  3. Burn for 2-3 hours each time you light the candle. This will help the candle burn evenly, and remember to trim wicks before each burn.

While Burning

  1. Never Leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping.
  2. Never touch or move a burning candle. Never move the candle vessel whilst the wax is liquefied.
  3. Never burn the candle to the end. For safety reason allow 1/2 cm in the base.
  4. Never leave lit candles within reach of children or pets they can be easily knock over.

When Extinguishing

  1. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, if available, as it’s the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering.
  2. Do not use water to extinguish a candle, this can cause the hot wax to splatter and could break a glass container.
  3. Before leaving the room, make sure your candle is completely out and there is no glow coming from the wick ember.
  4. Do not touch or move the candle until it has completely cooled.
